DELHI to DHARAMSHALA
‘Yeh Dilli hai Meri Jaan’ Kickstart your day. Devour a hearty breakfast at Karim’s because your day is action-packed. Today we visit the most important historical sites in Delhi. Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, Qutub Minar – the tallest minaret, Lotus Temple – the notable flower-like shape and Iskon temple for its sheer stillness in the atmosphere. We also visit notable historical buildings like Red Fort, Raj Ghat, President’s House, Parliament House & Humayun’s Tomb known worldwide for its Persian architecture. Later in the evening we take a flight to Dharamshala.

DHARAMSHALA
Spiritualism is a way of life; a philosophy to live by. Dharamshala is an important pilgrim spot for many; many who come to India to rediscover spiritualism. Our first stop is Dalai Lama Monastery or more popularly known as Dalai Lama Temple. Take a meditative stroll, explore the library full of ancient texts, turn the prayer wheels or visit the museum to know more about Dalai Lama’s life and Tibetan culture. Next stop is Baijnath Temple, one of the 12 ‘Jyotirlinga temple’ of Lord Shiva. Built in the 13th century, the temple boasts of of Nagara style architecture, and hosts idols that date prior to when the temple was built.

If you wish, you can visit the Dalai Lama Monastery and experience the joy of meditation and pure-healing sounds of the prayer wheels again. In the afternoon, we leave for Delhi for your flight back home
