MUMBAI to KOCHI

Gary Weiss said “Kochi, formerly called Cochin, is a former European settlement with a large Christian population and a seafaring heritage. It is a town of enormous charm that reminds some visitors of the Caribbean more than India.” From the oldest European church in India – St. Francis, Kerala-style Palace which was later renovated by the Dutch, a Jewish synagogue built back in 1560 that houses unique antiques and artefacts to the humongous hypnotic fishing nets installation first discovered by Chinese explorer Zheng He, now popularly known as the Chinese fishing nets, Kochi is a multicultural marvel in Southern India.
