TENT CITY (DHORDO)
Moon-lit nights are hypnotic here, so you get the best comfortable sleep. Wake up fresh. We head to Mandi Beach for a few miles away lies the royal heritage of Kutch – Vijay Vilas Palace, which was once the summer palace of Jadeja Maharao. Made of red sandstone, the palace reminds you of a large country house with inlaid tile work, stone carving, manicured garden, intricate jail work, magnificent water streams and murals that are the highlights of the palace. Besides, you will hear many stories on the tour that may transport you to the past. Then, a visit to the memorial of the foremost Indian revolutionary fighter Shyamji Krishna Verma. The evening we spend some time at the beach. We usually prefer walking and lazing around while we watch the windmills and birds. Maybe get a nice foot massage in the soft sand.

TENT CITY (DHORDO)
Photographers from all over the world come to Kutch to witness the grand event of nature – Sunrise in The Great Rann of Kutch. It has always been magical for us. Every time. Another attraction of the desert is Kala Dungar. Legend says that Lord Datatreya, an incarnation of Brahma, Vishnu & Mahesh (the holy trinity) walked the earth and rested in the black hills of Kala Dungar and offered himself to the hungry jackals. Since then, travellers from all over the world witness this unusual practice of priests n this 400-year-old temple feeding the jackals at noon every day. This is also the highest point to get a panoramic view of The Great Rann of Kutch. The next experience is close to our hearts. Close interaction with the villagers, and local artists in this small village called Gandhi Nu Gaam-Handicraft Village near Khavda village. They are known for their  copper bells, leather bags, mirror work, puppet making and more.
